Advanced Bionics

This project explores anthropomorphic movement and how it can be translated into mechanical design.

Linear actuators replace the various muscles in the hand and forum, simulating their corresponding counterparts.

Three micro processors and 4 lithium polymer batteries (lipo) are embedded within the radius and ulna bones, complete with a wireless module.

Currently this project has gone through two rounds of physical prototyping with great success and will now form the basis for the upcoming 'Bionic Toolkit' project.
